Terms & Conditions for Nivesh

By downloading, installing, or using Nivesh ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Nivesh Is

Nivesh is a personal finance tracker that helps you record and calculate:

• Bank deposits (Recurring Deposits, Fixed Deposits, and similar) — principal, interest, tenure, and maturity values.
• A monthly income/expense budget.
• Personal loans between you and other people ("Udhar") — money you've lent or borrowed, tracked as a running ledger per person.

Nivesh is not a bank, lender, broker, or financial institution. It does not hold, transfer, or move any money. It is a record-keeping and calculation tool only.

No Financial Advice

Interest calculations, maturity projections, and budget suggestions shown in the app are estimates based on the numbers you enter and standard formulas (e.g. quarterly-compounding RD/FD interest). They are for informational purposes only and are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always verify actual figures with your bank or a licensed financial advisor before making financial decisions.

Accuracy of Your Data

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the investment, budget, and Udhar data you enter. Nivesh does not verify amounts, dates, interest rates, or the identity of people you tag in Udhar entries against any external source (bank records, government ID, etc.).

Udhar (Lending & Borrowing) Feature

• Udhar is a personal record-keeping tool between you and people you know. It does not constitute a legal loan agreement, and Nivesh is not a party to, and has no responsibility for, any money actually owed between you and another person.
• If you tag an Udhar entry with a phone number, and that number matches another Nivesh user, they will receive a notification and can Accept or Reject a record of that transaction appearing in their own ledger. Accepting only means they've confirmed the record in the app — it does not constitute repayment, a legal admission of debt, or any binding agreement outside the app.
• Any proof photo or PDF you attach to a transaction is provided by you, is not verified by Nivesh, and is stored solely for your own reference.

Accounts and Access

You're responsible for keeping your Google sign-in secure. Investments, budgets, and Udhar entries are private to your account by default; features that let you share data with another user (investment sharing, Udhar Accept/Reject) only take effect when both sides take an explicit action.

Ads

Nivesh is free to use and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. See our Privacy Policy for how ad data is handled.

No Warranty

Nivesh is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that calculations will exactly match your bank's own figures.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Nivesh is not liable for any financial loss, disputes between users over Udhar entries, or other damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on any figures it displays.

Changes to the App or These Terms

Features may be added, changed, or removed over time, and these terms may be updated. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
